Vis-à-vis their potential, a significant proportion of Zambia’s protected area assets and landscapes underperform in terms of the economic, social, and developmental returns they generate. We support an enabling environment that promotes effective conservation models (particularly Collaborative Management Partnerships) that facilitate greater financial, environmental and development impact through inclusive and climate-sensitive commercialisation of Zambia’s natural assets.
We provide co-investment grants, grants for technical assistance, direct engagement and facilitation to a wide variety of partners including associations and business membership organisations, NGOs or other non-profit organisations, and government.
